Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

That’s what’s I’m afraid of... i just finish my check list and I’m afraid TG hat we not go find out until after the lvn program starts... then what? People just go drop out the program leaving it short of students?

I am afraid of the same thing! I thought about emailing the coordinator but I know they are super swamped. I’m hoping we will find out something in the next 2 weeks!

Yea that would be pretty messed up for the lvn program if we didn’t find out till afterwards.. and does that mess us up if we drop out of the program after it started and doing we get our money back for payment if we drop out cause we accepted the Rn program

When does the LVN program start?? Is the coordinator the same for LVN and Rn? That’s a really good question.

I think the LVN starts May 15th and I’m pretty sure you don’t get your money back if you drop after classes start.

LVN starts June 3rd. We have to have all of our documentation by May 15th.

So hopefully we will hear something by the 15th!?! About 10 days!?

Yea, because that would pretty bad for lonestar if it its after june 3rd and for people who actually starts the class and gets the rn program as well

Yeah if we receive financial aid we wont get most of our money back if we drop after the first day of record

Right so I'm thinking I should say something before the 15th.. but idk about risking my spot

How would you risk your spot by saying something, i just completed all my checklist but as soon as i find out if i get in , and i'm going to email the lady at cy fair to let her know.. I mean they have to know people applied for the adn program as well and would rather that program then lvn.
