Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Published

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I don't know what would give you the idea that I took any of this personally. You seem to be the triggered one here, not me. You attacked me on how I know what I'm talking about and when informed that I did research your whole tone changed. I'm done with this. It's petty and immature.

There is a lot i would like to say but idk you and i honestly cud care less about you! I hope you get into nursing school and have a great career! Have a bless life

Omg I’m so stealing this!!!

And you guys gotta take a step back and relax. Go ahead and type your angry response, let all that negative energy out through your keyboard. THEN ERASE IT AND DONT POST IT. Throw that negativity away. Please, let’s radiate nothing but positive energy so we can get these damn letters sooner. ?

shhh more ? for us, let them display for us to all see and not in private dms ?

Y’all are right! The stress and the frustration in the delay of everything is definitely getting to me! It so many assumptions and everything going on! Just going to take a break for the forum and emails

The ideas just keep coming lol

I don't have anything to hide or be ashamed of. I've given factual information and tried to be a help to anyone who is curious about the TBON CBC process. I've seen a lot of questions about it but haven't replied because by the time I see it there's another 7 pages of posts. If someone wants to reach out to me they are more than welcome.

I don't do personal attacks. I don't stoop to pettiness. I just try to educate others with the knowledge I have acquired. If someone feels threatened by that intellect then that's on them. ?‍♂️

Have u guys heard anything about Cyfair?? I hear alot about Tomball so far but have you heard anything regarding Cyfair?? Im getting a bit anxious... I emailed the adviser last week and she said she spoke to Ms Anderson and that they had not sent out any acceptance letters yet and to keep checking our emails.

Nope. I’ve been keeping up with this thread and nobody has heard from cyfair. Which sucks cuz that was my first choice. Hang in there!

Fair points made, do you know if we’ve already had our finger prints done before would they require it again specifically for the program?

Were they specifically done for TBON? Or for other entities? If they were done for TBON, then no. You will not have to submit them again. They would just run your background again in case anything new has happened.

I took the hesi three times... in my experience the test was pretty similar but i think they are in the process of changing it

I hope they don’t change it ? I studied so hard from the hesi a2 book and it didn’t help with a&p.. did some of the same questions come up when you took the hesi again?

I agree, hence my overall score is a 7.376 because the AP was my lowest grade. I should have taken the HESI again for this round but I got so tied up with things I didn’t have the time. Some have mentioned some AP quizlets and Facebook groups from what I heard that help a little more than the book. I’ve been wondering the same as well, if the questions were similar. I had a lot of heart questions, eye, ear (I didn’t see the senses in the book or much info about it).
