Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Yeah, I think that if everyone marks their name, it can give us an idea of at least how many people has received the email or prior check.

It looks like the ones that received that email already are the ones that were accepted already.

Did you also apply for LVN? Is that how you did your fingerprinting? Also did T_Mac get the email. I don't remember.

Okay so I talked to the nursing director at Tomball yesterday, she said those letters don’t mean you were accepted or you weren’t, and if you got one you can start the process now, and if you don’t make it they’ll still be good for next time. She also said it could still be a few weeks for acceptance letters because of a “problem”. Butttttt it’s looking like only Tomball first choicers with a score of 7.5 or above are getting the emails so idk how this makes sense either ??‍♀️ I explicitly repeated my question of “so those emails don’t mean you made it or you didn’t?” And she said “correct, just wait for the letters”. But like I said it’s looking like higher scoring tomballs are the ones getting them so I’m just more confused than I was before honestly

Did they say anything about the ones who didn’t get one

Well she cant give you a answer. But that's the only thing that makes sense. What is the "Problem"?? the Clinical sites?

I think if they want for people to lessen the calls to the school to ask these questions they should just give an exact date. Unless they truly don’t know.

I think they have the results, but I think the "problem" is keeping them from telling us. But clear information would probably help. I think we had stopped the calls, at least on this forum until Tomball got those letters.

I think the “problem” is the clinical sites! BSN programs have first priority over ADN programs and they have been having some problems with the clinical sites

Yeah I know Ang said that. I just don't know how things like that aren't already settled. This isn't a new program. I think also if you tell everyone who got in , they would stop calling, I would glady wait until you have a clinical site if I know I got in. I would leave you alone and I can focus on other stuff. But they want to be ale to tell people they are accepted and give them a schedule huh??
