Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

if they wait too long to send them out they might be. But assuming they know the date, and they have the results and who is going where I don't think it will come to that.

I think they are going to send them soon like the lady said. Like Monday. Monday is the day. May 6 we will have our acceptance letters.

I read on Lonestar Cy Fair’s info page that if you acceptance admission into a program that you will not be considered for another. Sooooo....does that mean if you were accepted into LVN you don’t have a chance for RN?

So I just saw this in the nursing page

”Biology and pharmacology courses submitted for program credit must be completed no more than five (5) years prior to application to the nursing program. See Biology Refresher Course. All transfer Biology courses for the nursing programs must be minimally 4 credit hours and the Pharmacology must be a nursing Pharmacology course of at least 3 credit hours.”

Do I need to take pharmacology before I get accepted? I’m freaking out haha

Not before accepted, but before I think the 2nd semester of nursing program. There is a schedule somewhere when everything needs to be done. I'm taking Pharm in the summer, I know some people take it during 1st semester of nursing but they don't recommend that.

I think they are talking about the campuses once you accept at one campuses you are no longer considered for the other campus options

I think that's true. You aren't able to move around your choices either right. You have to go with the order you choose on your application right?
