Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

A lady that I know that went to the tomball program said that one of her friends was an alternate for ADN and got in but had to drop out because of health issues so she reapplied the next application date and was an alternate again and got into the program again. There are so many things that affect people not being able to attend the program that I think it’s very likely an alternate could end up in the program.

Oh yeah the childcare I'm sure is a killer. The financial responsibility as well because I looked at tuition cost, not considering all the extra stuff we need. I think that's why they normally send acceptance letters early. There is a lot to get in order to start and do well in this program.
Just now, SoniaE said:Yes for the spring. But if an alternate got in with a 6.8 or 6.9 shouldn’t I have gotten in with a 7.1?
No love the 6.9 and 6.8 were for the fall the usual cut off for spring is a 7.5! Spring semester is waaaaaay harder to get into because only two campus have applications

Do you remember what campus? I had a 7.1 and didn’t get in ?
when we apply, we fill out one application and pick our top 3 choices right? Not fill out 3 different applications ?
