Hey everyone, just wanted to start a Fall 2018 page for Lone Star ADN/LVN future students!

Thanks for the advice candycane1117!(: hope you're enjoying your time in nursing school(:

That's why I'm taking this summer off to relax before and I can get ready to buckle down to study for two years straight lol! Thanks for the advice♥️

Hello! I'm applying for ADN at Lonestar Fall 2018. My first choice is the North Harris location. I haven't taken my HESI yet. I am probably going to take it March 9th, I just want as much study time as possible, I am really worried about the A&P section.

Make sure you make it to the test on the 9th that is the official deadline. The A&P section really isn't too bad, if you've taken both a&p 1&2. You should know the bones, endocrine system, cardiovascular system, integumentary system this includes some physiology in those systems. But the test can vary. Their have been other students in this forum that aced it. Hopefully they can give you better advice. Good luck!!(:

I'm excited to find out!!! If we get in I heard there is a project or something due before the first day of school? Does anyone know anything about that?

My friend Taylor that's about to graduate from LSC said there are no projects we need to do before. I think this summer I might take Pharmocology online. Anyone have a recommendation for a great Pharmocology Professor?

@RNRachelY I'm taking Pharm online with Mary Jones from Tomball and so far I've managing a B in the class. I'm also taking 14 credits total 4 of which is A&P2.

Thank you I'll look into getting her!

I am about to take an online Pharm class with Lonestar Tomball, it is a late start class for Spring term.

Regarding a pharmacology professor, Connie Noeller is in north Harris, and I was able to reactive an A in that class while taking four other classes. Would highly recommend.

Thank you so much!
