Fall 2020 Hillsborough Community College

Hi, I will be applying to hcc for fall 2020. My stats are:

overall gpa- 3.35

pre req gpa-3.5

teas- 75%

Do I have a chance of getting into the program for the fall term?

I wasn’t accepted with a 3.62. I emailed nursing saying some people were accepted with lower GPAs than that and they told me to give them names of people accepted with lower GPAs than that. I said no because that feels wrong. But I’m honestly confused.

Hi, does anyone know where I can make my payment for fingerprinting? I went to the website: https://hccfl.afford.com/PPT/MakeAPayment and I can't find the "PSAV & Workforce option" like it says on the fingerprint/background check sheet.

That’s crazy! But I’m hoping they actually just have higher GPA’s than what they themselves calculated ? Seeing as only people who were denied got the official pre req GPA on the email disqualifying them from the 3.8xx that was on the email. I mean, it’s simple math but if someone with a confirmed 3.2 got in - I’d be even more discouraged with the denial/wait list situation

Last semester, my best friend applied with a GPA of 4.0, and she didn't get a spot! I have the same GPA, and I was so nervous because I felt something like this could happen to me. I heard they select randomly, but I am not sure about it.

Excuse my language. But This *** is not right which means they did not properly accept the correct students. Their process needs to be done correctly. Please provide them with the people you know who got in with a lower GPA that is wrong. I have a 3.5 GPA and did not get in either.

Hi, if you haven't found it already, go to hccfl.afford.com ....(basically, take out /PPT/MakeAPayment) and on that homepage, at the bottom, there is a place where you can bring down a dropdown box which will have the PSAV & Workforce option.

Thanks so much. I called back and the new rep I spoke to said the other person was wrong. They do titers and I've got it all squared away.
