Hi, I will be applying to hcc for fall 2020. My stats are:
overall gpa- 3.35
pre req gpa-3.5
teas- 75%
Do I have a chance of getting into the program for the fall term?

It’s well worth the wait. ❤️ Also, for those asking about trading cohorts, last semester we were told that it was not allowed! But it may be worth asking!
In the email that I got it says that cohorts can't be exchanged.

I am so excited and nervous about this new journey! I have already scheduled an appointment for the fingerprints, paid the drug test, scheduled an appointment for the titers in the Health Department ($50 is the price for the titers and $25 for completing the form)
8605 N. Mitchell Ave. Tampa, Fl. 33604. Phone: 8133078077 , in case someone wants to schedule an appointment).
I also scheduled appointment for the TB exam and for the Physical examination!
I am getting so crazy!
I'm in Cohort 2(was hoping for 1, but glad I got in nonetheless). But I did have a question. I am in the process of getting health insurance now, but heard it was cheaper to get titers at the health dept anyway, so I'm going to do that now. Are you going through your primary care doc for the TB test and physical, or the health dept for that too? I'm trying to make everything as cost effective as I can, as I'm a single mom who works only part time, and the plan I got was so basic, it doesn't cover physicals.

I read in other forum that someone who got a number 112 in the waiting list, finally got a spot in the Nursing Program! You are so close, and because of the COVID-19, I think you have high chances to get into the program!

congratulations!
Make an appointment with the Health Department and get your titers done! Some of the vaccines are free if you do not have an insurance, so take advantage of that benefit. I am going through my primary doctor for the TB exam, but I know that the Health Department can give you the information about that exam, too.

Hey! Don’t give up. I was alternate number 19 last semester and still got accepted. There is always a chance! And they are very particular in the way that they calculate their GPA. Hang in there!
