Okay! I attached pictures of her textbooks, so I don’t know if I can get away with them and just purchase the access codes, or if at that point it’s just worth it to buy the entire bundle. Thank you for your help!

Unfortunately those are all from a different publisher than what we used! Unless if they change the curriculum again, I strongly recommend buying the bundle. I found it super helpful to have both physical and online copies of each textbook as well as the online softwares. $1100 is a lot of money, If someone can not afford it I’m sure they would be willing to work with you! These are some of the books we used with the exception of 2 or 3 which are not pictured.

Hello Future nurses!

I applied for the Nursing Program in March! Now, I’m taking a few classes for the Summer. CHM 2010, IDS 2891, and PS since these curses fill the slot for AA and BSN. My GPA is 4.0, but my TEAS Test result was 62.5. I took this test 2 days after I had finished my last pre-requisites, so I didn't prepare myself for it ?

Now, I am feeling so nervous! My anxiety is driving me crazy!!!

Has anyone been accepted into the program yet?

Hi! So to my knowledge no one has heard back yet. It could be anywhere over the next 3 weeks though. I can tell you that if your GPA is a 4.0, you are a shoe in for the program and basically guaranteed a spot. Good luck and I hope to see you in the program soon. What is your preferred campus list in order. We all listed ours just to see who we could possibly be grouped with.

thank you for answering my comments! I hope I can get a spot in Dalemabry Campus. I know people with the same GPA that didn't get a spot in the program. My best friend wasn't accepted, and she has a 4.0 GPA. I hope to see you there, too!

I think your friend may be lying about her GPA. ? my sister is currently in the program and has had conversations with class members about their GPAs and a 3.4 student was accepted as an alternate last year...

I would also like to say that you have nothing to worry about. There is no reason you wouldn’t get in if your GPA is a 4.0. They do not use TEAS scores (unless you didn’t pass) to filter out students. Let’s save the worrrying for people who are on the cusp LOL

I agree with @Rachel Knudtson when I attended the info session they basically confirmed if you have a 4.0 and everything thing else required for the program then you’re in. And you should get your highest ranked cohort as well. They look at overall GPA as a tiebreaker for individuals with the same prerequisite GPA, so unless everyone else has a 4.0, then you’re fine.

I believe we should find out either tomorrow or by next week! I wish everyone the best of luck!

To be honest, I don't have much experience with the American Education System. I have been living in the U.S.A. since 2013. I enrolled myself in a program at HCC that is called English for Academic Purposes (EAP), which is a program designed for non-native English speakers planning to study at a U.S. college or university. I spent almost 3 years in that program ? Finally, I was able to take the prerequisite courses required for Nursing. However, I don't know how, but this Summer I will get my Health Science Associate's Degree. I know that my GPA is 4.0 and my TEAS is 62.5%, but I don't know what is my prerequisite GPA or my accumulative (University +/- GPA)

The only thing that I know for sure is what I want to be!!

Hi! You're doing an amazing job. Based on the picture you provided it looks like your pre-req is a 4.0 as well. Well done. I really hope the best for you and the rest of us.

Hey guys,

It looks like they're done with my application (or at least looking it over). No email or notification yet as to their decision about the program. Everything is showing "received" and "waived" (for the TEAS, since I wasn't able to take it).

I hoped to be placed in the Plant City cohort. I really hope we'll get updates soon.I keep getting notifications about signing up for classes from HCC via email ? Kind of hard when you're hoping to get into the program.

Prereq 3.57

Best wishes!

Hi all,

This waiting is killing me! But I'm hopeful that I can get a spot in the Dale Mabry campus......
