Hi, I will be applying to hcc for fall 2020. My stats are:

overall gpa- 3.35

pre req gpa-3.5

teas- 75%

Do I have a chance of getting into the program for the fall term?

Has anyone contacted the school to see when we should know if we are accepted or not?! I was thinking it would be late June but many of you are thinking today or next week! How do you guys know? I hope this is true!

I have asked and they told me we should hear back within 3-4 after the May 15th deadline. I am also going by the past Fall terms as far as timeframes goes, I saw everyone starting to get there letters around this time.

I just know the application says that student will be notified on their admission 4-6 weeks after the application deadline. Today marks three weeks so I don’t think today is the day. Hopefully soon ??

*** I’m just now seeing the comment above so it looks like we will hear sooner than suggested!

Was this recently that you asked that? Just wasn't sure if that was a recent question asked or if it was asked a while ago (with everything going on I wasn't sure if it was going to be pushed back).

I would say it was about a month ago when I asked after turning in my application. I am thinking hopefully we will find out this week to come.

Just to clarify, HCC only uses our pre-req GPA to determine if we are accepted or not right? The overall GPA is only used for a tiebreaker right?

I'm constantly checking web advisor like there's some hidden clue. LOL. Yes, I believe you are correct. Pre req GPA is their main focus. Best of luck!

Yes! It has me so antsy. Does anyone else have that ability to search for nursing classes on web advisor? I was surprised to see them listed (don't actually think I can add it- it will probably give me an error). But wondered if anyone else can see the list of classes offered so far for Fall 2020

That's a good question. Do we register for our classes or does the school register us once accepted?
