Fall 2014 city tech nursing?

So i'm interested in applying for the fall semester coming up but i'm currently taking two pre reqs because i started in LAGCC and had a terrible lecture professor, long story short i ended up with a B-

My pre reqs so far

Phys-A

Eng- A

Math- currently taking

Bio 2- Currently taking

I know there is an entrance exam but I'm not sure if it's the TEAS or KAPLAN or NLN pre entrance exam. I can't get in touch with a nursing advisor which is frustrating and I don't think the site has been update in months if not years.. does anybody know whats going on with the test and if i would have to wait for the grades to the two classes I'm taking right now to apply. Also i took phys in HS and the credits are transferable but would i need to go get a transcript from York, LAGCC, and City Tech when I apply?

I said i would post when i got the letter and here it is: I was accepted!!! I honestly can't believe it, I'm still in shock. If you didn't get in, just keep trying! Believe me, i have been there. I worked so hard to pull my grades up and pass. Failing isn't what defines you, its about how you get back up and fight. Thanks to you ladies/gents who participated in these forums and provided some peace of mind for the insane worry.

I'm very happy for you and congratulations. What was your gpa in the 4 preqs? And teas score??

thank you!! it was 3.4 and 78 on the TEAs. If i were you i would try to redo the TEAS, since our GPA was pretty similar. However i also took calculus just in case my gpa was too low for this semester and got an A, as like a backup plan.

i got accepted!!!!!!!! i got my mail around 4pm today n i am still shaking.... gosh best day of my life... congrats to @KT23 and jovane2 keep trying and try to take precalculus coz i took that and its not that hard....

One question if I take precalc and substitute it, will it get a .2 on the gap scale for the prerequisites? ?

Got my letter today. I got in.

Stats:

TEAS V: 81.3

3.78 GPA

I used my MAT 1575 (Calculus II) since I never took 1275.

This was my second attempt, because the first time I didn't do too well on my teas, so I didn't bother to apply to the program.

Trust me, I know how much rejection hurts. Ive been through it before (with gradschool).Twice. For those of you who got rejected, THIS IS NOT THE END FOR YOU. Retake a class, or take a higher level class if you have to, to bring up you gpa. Also, try to score as high as you can on the Teas exam. Because even if your gpa for the 4 prereq classes is not extremely high (like 3.3, 3.4ish), if you did really well on the teas, then they would take it into consideration.
