Hello! I am a 2017 fall nursing program hopeful. I did not see a forum started or this semester and was hoping to start one . Here we can ask each other questions and encourage one another along the way.

When you transfer are you transferring to apply to the nursing program? If so, that is because the application process for nursing begins in January. You have to have all your things in for the nursing program by may and by June they have picked who is getting into the program based off grades and testing scores. So you would have need to of been accepted to the school by dec to begin the application process the next semester in the spring.

Yes, because someone from admissions told me that I had to be a student spring semester in order to apply. I still need to take micro , sociology and I'm retaking APII. I know that the informational sessions are held in spring.

They told me that I just need to be a student by December and that I could just continue taking prerequisites at my current college and just send them an updated transcript in May.

oh okay. well thats what i may do as well. I did speak to someone and already got accepted.

Never mind on that. A lady told me that I had to be a student there in the spring so that my final grades would be in there system. :( I can't go in the spring so because of that I'm not going to apply now. Good luck to you!!

wait what ? i was told that all you had to do was apply and get accepted , but you still can take classes at your current school.

The lady told me if I did that there would be no way for me to be sure my grades are in there system by May 7th. I'm just confused honestly.

Next semester is already payed for with n scholarship only offered at my college.

ooo, thats understandable. Do they have a nursing program ?

Yes but you have to have a CNA to apply and I don't have one.
