Fall 2017 Century College (or MANE) Applicants out there?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I dropped off my application for the fall 2017 (MANE) Century College nursing program. Anyone else? Let's start a conversation here about getting in!

I guess I shouldn't worry so much then lol thanks guys!

I didn't get anything from Century or IHCC either. Crossing fingers for all of us on here!

I only got one from NHCC, but nothing from anoka.

I got a letter from Normandale and and email from the U of Mn

Hi all!! I'm apppying to Normandale and Inver Hills! I'm also applying to the U of M transfer program in Rochester. I'll hopefully get all my apps done and mailed off this week!

TJMMN, when does the U of M let you know by?

I'm taking the TEAS this week. Have you all taken it? Good scores? Bad? Advice for me? Thanks in advance for any help :)

I know you have a great composite score 8130. I forgot to ask how the TEAS went. Obviously you did well on the test but what did you think?

E3278, the application says mid-April. Do you know when we have to respond to the MANE programs by if we are accepted. I would want to wait and see if I was accepted to the U of M program before I reply to Normandale if I were to be offered a spot. I wasn't able to apply to Inver Hills since I'm still taking A&P II this semester, so Normandale and U of M are it for me this this time around.

TJMMN, I believe from what I have read, for students who have been accepted to the MANE program they need to respond by April 1st for Fall admission. Anyone, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I think that's what I have seen on other strings though. Seems like waitlist students might wait a little longer to find out if they are in or not. Good luck to you! Only 5 weeks until letters! This wait is excruciating!

E3278, thanks for asking! TEAS was tough. I made it tougher in myself by waiting until three days before the app deadline and taking it. No chance of retake! I ran out of time on the math and found that the science was heavier on the non A & P sciences which wasn't good for me. I ended up with an 81%.

8130, aren't you glad it's over? í ½í¸‰. Now we continue waiting.

We should know about a month from now!!!

Hi, I am a first semester NHCC student in the nursing program. I was accepted with a 3.46 GPA and a 82% on TEAS. I think the average TEAS for our cohort was about 78%, I think you have a good chance!
