How did the HESI go? I am also trying to apply for Fall 2019. I will be finishing my last two pre-reqs in the middle of December and taking the HESI on the 17th, the day before the application period ends. I'm hoping they will still let me apply, since grades may not be posted yet...but both classes are from ACC, so I won't need a transcript from another school. Plus, the last several application periods they have extended, so I'm hoping that happens as well!
@kwalker183 wow! great HESI score. I will be taking mine next Friday and I am a ball of nerves. I purchased a HESI study guide so I am hoping that helps. I noticed on the ACC HESI website that it says it only covers AP, reading comp, vocab, grammar and math.
My study guide book has biology, chemistry and AP. I feel like it is a trick and I should study for chemistry and bio too. DO you recall if there were any chemistry and bio questions?
@kwalker183 good to hear. Another question, I've been studying grammar. In my study guide book, most questions are asking to identify. (Examples: what is the adjective in the given sentence? Identify the predicate. What part of the sentence is a prepositional phrase?) however, the grammar practice tests that I find on quizlet(or some other random website) are waaay easier and ask questions such as: which word is used correctly? Which word is used incorrectly? Which word should be used in the sentence? Which sentence is grammatically correct? Which word is spelled correctly?
So my question is: do you have any advice what I should focus on?
Also, did you mail in your app or hand it in to them? I was wondering if we hand it in do we need to have our application in a folder or some sort of envelope.
im so sorry for the million questions. 3.5 days out from my HESI test date!
