Hi Everyone!
I did not see a thread for Fall 2017 Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) cohort for Mount Saint Mary's University-Los Angeles, I was wondering if anyone has applied for next fall! Feel free to share your grades stats, teas score, interview updates or ANY sort of updates from the school! I look forward to interacting with you all!!
I understand, thank you very much for your response! I wish you the best of luck with your decisions! Also, if you don't mind me asking everyone here, what is your current GPA when you applied? Mine is around 3.3~ with 2 in progress classes.
Why do you think a 3.3 will prevent you from being accepted? I have a 3.2/3.3 overall and like a 3.4 in sciences.
Congrats!! ADN program is excellent at MSMU, i have heard really great stuff about it! Your stats are low for BSN program but for ADN, those are amazing!! Regarding their TEAS, don't they want ATI TEAS VI version though?
Also,
My stats: GPA:3.34 (idontknow how i should calculate science gpa) TEAS scores yet to be determined!

From the email I received, its still the TEAS V. I'll let you guys know for sure after I take my test on Saturday.
ummm guys! I called msmu admission a month ago to ask if they accepted TEAS V. they said it was a mistake in the email, they resent the email stating TEAS VI instead of V. Make sure you call the admission... little thing can offset your admission!
@kurischan Don't give up, they look at everything, letter of rec, personal statement etc., Let's hope for the best! Keep us updated!!
Hello! So was it TEAS 6??? or 5?
Your over all is 74.7? that's good, msmu wants 62% passing at the least. How did you do in english? I feel like reading it the worst for me. Science is tricky, last time i took it, it was awful. Well at least you've finished it! Good luck for next steps!!

I think it's because I applied to the traditional BSN two years in a row and they are offering it as an alternative because my stats aren't good enough (there are only 10 spots for transfers into the tBSN program). I have to let them know by June 6th if I want to enroll. I've met some other nurses at the hospital I work at that have had the same thing happen to them. I think I am going to accept if I don't get into USF.
