Hello everyone, who has started A&P 2? I know we can all use support from each other. I for one have started class and my first day was yesterday. The syllabus doesn't look to bad. I just hope I will enjoy this more than A&P1. Organization is the key to our success and having a memory like an elephant wouldn't hurt either! Lol!!
Just checked my scores for the second exam- 95%! Woo hoo! It was on Blood and the Heart. There was a good mnemomic that helped me keep the coronary arteries straight: (Right)RPM and (Left)LAC...people drive with RPMs and are Law Abiding Citizens.
Next up- Blood Vessels, Lymphatic System and Immunity. Any advice out there on memorizing the very long list of veins and arteries? Any vids or strategies with blood vessels or lymphatic sytem? Any tips are super appreciated.
Thanks! And Good Luck! : )
Found some great A&P videos on Interactive Biology, by Leslie Samuel | Making Biology Fun!. Dr. Samuel explains things in such an easy way to understand them. I highly recommend watching a few if you feel stuck on a concept.
Cool vids :)
Is everyone here a pre nursing student? I'm still trying to finish pre Reqs before I can get into program. It's been hard! Mainly because I'm a single mom to two boys ...BUT so far I've excelled at getting As & Bs in all of my classes so I'm hoping to transfer to a university if I keep my gpa up.

I found several cool videos on YouTube that were very informative. I got a B+ on my exam... If I find links I'll post em

Yep! This is my last semester of pre-reqs...yay! I'm applying in January and hope to be placed in either a Fall 2013 or Spring 2014 class. Fingers crossed!!!
Good luck to you! As long as you have all the university pre-reqs done and good grades, you should be able to get accepted. I know the university here takes nursing students twice a year. The CC where I'm going takes students twice a year, but only has one application period for both. So you have to apply a year in advance...ugh!
