I submitted my app to Fairfield University's May 2024 CRNA program, just thought I'd start the forum now for everyone.

Unfortunately I was one of the individuals who received a rejection. 

To those who are interviewing, would you be able to share your stats?

2 years MICU/SICU/NCCU exp, charge, preceptor, CRRT, 16 shadow hours. Undergrad GPA 3.96 (4.0 science)

Yeah I've been SICU for over 2 years and ED before. all devices + CCRN, publications etc. sounds like my first degree GPA and science GPA are my barriers. even though I retook science classes over

Don't lose hope. I worked in the OR with lots of CRNAs, and they all said to cast a wide net. What one school is looking for may not be what another one is. Reach out to the school and see if they can fill you in on the areas you could strengthen, and then throw that net back out there. And as always, when you get to where you're supposed to be, hindsight will have the insight. ??

2 years CVICU. 3.97 for my BSN, 3.6 science. All devices and CRRT. Precepting. Multiple leadership positions. Quality improvement projects. Many volunteer hours. ACLS/PALS/BLS. CCRN cert. 23 hours shadowing.

Same here- no email either way. Hoping by the end of the week, going a little stir crazy not knowing.

You should check your application portal and see if they want you to post an interview picture...it seems this was the first indicator for an invite to interview.

On the Next Step page is the interview picture displayed anywhere else other than the drop down box?
