  1. Nursing GPA: 3.85 Science GPA: 4.0 Cumulative GPA: 3.3 (prior degree) Total nursing experience: 3yrs; 1.5yrs ICU by matriculation at a large, Level 1 metropolitan hospital. Previous work experience as an anesthesia technician. Hospital-wide committee involvement. Decade of volunteer experience. Ultimately, what I feel allowed me to separate myself in the interview was being able to tie all of my answers back to how each particular experience has prepared me for this career. Having a lock-solid "why CRNA". And at the end of the day — a bit of luck. Don't give up. Keep knocking on doors. Cast a wide net and don't limit yourself to your top school. If it's meant to be, nothing can stop it.
  2. Nothing yet. Hopefully we hear something this week so we can plan. I imagine it will be end of day? Has anyone made a facebook group?
  3. I rescinded my acceptance with another school to accept here. So that opened up a spot for someone. I hear it's very common for people to get brought off of the waitlist into programs. Praying for y'all ??
  4. They said they'd reach out to everyone the first week of November. If it wasn't for this forum we wouldn't know anyone had gotten accepted. Stay positive! Even if you get waitlisted, there's still a chance.
  5. Spoke to some one who is in their 2nd year there, and they said usually the 3rd week of September!
  6. Email between now and Wednesday. Two weeks from the email being sent to accept and pay deposit to secure seat.
  7. 100% this. You got an interview, so your stats speak for themselves. I felt like they were more interested in getting to know me as a person than they were as a clinician.
  8. I mean, I'm ready to plan the class Christmas party, IDK what you're talking about ?
  9. Thanks for doing that! What's the FB group name? And congrats!
  10. Curious how many people theyve accepted already. I have a feeling they'll get the board to open the class size to 30, so we could have a pretty big class. Pumped to grind out the next 3 years with you guys! We gotta stick together — we'll need each other.
  11. Awesome! I was there on the 6th and also got accepted on the 10th. Was shook when I saw the email.
  12. There's honestly not a lot that can be said outside of what was mentioned already. If you get the opportunity to interview with multiple schools, you learn that it really comes down to being a good fit for their particular style of educating more than anything else. If you have an interview, your qualifications stand for themselves. Just go in there and be yourself! Genuinely. Best of luck!
