Didn't see a thread posted yet for the 2020 Fairfield University CRNA cohort so thought I would start one! Just submitted application: 3 years CVICU (42 beds) and 2 years Neurosurgical/Neurotrauma ICU (16 beds) experience, CCRN, Cumulative GPA 3.64, Nursing GPA (let's skip this one LOL), and lots of committee work. Good luck to everyone!!

I’m coming from Connecticut. I’ve been waiting for something in the mail too. I hope we have it by the end of the week
I have an interview on Sept. 25. Applied July 1st.
Heard the interview is mostly personal/getting to know you questions.
Not so much clinical like Rutgers or Columbia (the other schools I'm applying to).
ALSO... Is there a writing portion? I spoke to a friend who interviewed with Fairfield last year and there was no writing portion. I also spoke to someone who interviewed 2 year ago who told me there was a writing portion.... idk if they changed it.
? maybe we get the articles 2 days before our actual interview. Mine is next week and haven’t gotten anything.
EDIT: I e-mailed to inquire about the writing portion and was told that instead of requiring a GRE, they ask us to write a few paragraphs on an article. They send out articles via e-mail a few days before the interview and short notice because they do not want us to obsess over it or memorize what to write. Hope this helps ?
