Hey!!

There was no thread for this so thought I would get it started!

I just got accepted into the program starting in June!

Anyone else get accepted or any people who are in the program have some insight or reviews??

Hope to hear from you guys soon :)

Audrey

That is awesome! So much helpful information, I can't thank you enough!! Any other tips? I am happy there are some breaks becuase I thought there were no breaks at all. Do you think the summer, fall or spring is the hardest part? How many classes do you take at a time? And for how long are they( the whole semester, goes by weeks? ) and Congrats on almost graduating too!

Ya no problem!!

So far Fall was the hardest.. but Idk this semester might get harder and I am not sure how the second summer will be.

In the fall you take 17 credits I believe. 2 classes are only half the semester (mental health first half and health and wellness the second half) so its 3 classes at a time for the whole regular school semester.

That's doesn't seem too bad. How do the days work? Do you have every class every day of the week? Do they give you any breaks during the school day? How are the clinical( days/nights, hours, the people that teach you? )

Hi Catherine and Jenna!

Would love to connect with you guys, but for some reason this site won't let me private message. Was thinking of starting a facebook group or something!

A little of my background... I graduated college in 2012 with a BFA. I have been an EMT for 3 years and a Medical Assistant for 1.

I currently live in NY and will be moving to CT for the program. So excited for June and can't wait to start this adventure!

To send pms you need 15 or more posts.

Hey, Silverdragon!

I had two quick questions about the program. Can you graduate with honors and is the graduation only with those in the program?

Hey girl sorry it took me so long to respond! How did you feel about the program and the flow of it? Did you feel like it was possible to work as well? Was there a particular semester you enjoyed over others or one that maybe was a little easier

I'm definitely excited about the program and look forward to hearing from you :-)

Hello All,

I just came across these posts and I will be starting the BSN program this June as well! Excited to start and to learn more details at the orientation. Is everyone planning to attend on the 26th?

hello @ald09010 how did you like the program? i am also about an hour and 15 minutes away, how did you do with the commute? thank you !

Hi! I am apart of the Fairfield University Accelerated nursing program starting in June 2018. Were any of you able to handle a job on the side? Like waitressing or babysitting?
