hi, i used hurst this time but i still failed the exam. so i don't know what other reviewers i can use. ive used saunders, this other video and some other book.. kaplan is just way too expensive. i do however have the kaplan strategies book and used it but i failed..im so lost as to where to even begin. i don't wanna give up on this cuz i want it soooooo bad. just the achievement of having to pass this horrific exam.. that'll be the day..

please, do not give up! i cannot imagine what you are going through...what helped me during my boards were to do 100 kaplan questions a day, broken up 50 in the morning then reviewing rationales, the 50 at night for 4 weeks. The rationales are the most important aspect in understanding what the boards want. It would seem that you know content of the material, its now how to apply the content to the test.

I know kaplan online trainers were expensive, but it surely helped me tremendously during the NCLEX. The questions were very similar to the boards, but in my opinion, were harder than the NCLEX.

Dont give up, you went through school, clinic, and nursing instructors. you will pass!

I've heard very great things about the Kaplan materials. Yes, its expensive so give it a try and read it cover-to-cover. Once you decided to make that investment take a few month to study.

hey hang in there..it's ok to grieve for awhile but please not for long, you have to move forward. think of how happy your parents will be to see you with that prized RN license, and your daughter, she needs you to support her. like u i failed in nclex also. i cried for awhile and just woke up one morning asking God to help me in my review again. i prayed that someday i overcome this monster, to help pay back my loving parents for their support, to give my son and daughter a good life, and to basically help hubby with finances at home.. i understand that sometimes you consider yourself a burden to your loved ones, just pray if you can ok? i'm in this with you..if you want a study partner u can email me: [email protected]

i plan on getting the kaplan q bank..it may be a little pricey but they say it's worth it.what's paying 300dollars to pass than not paying 300 at all but failing right?at least you get to obtain new knowledge on strategies.. hope i helped:)

thank you. i cried a whole lot. i'm extremely exhausted. i mean my brain is totally drained. i'm still sad but the rest of the day i was thinking of what i can do. i had already spent 300 for the hurst. kaplan is just way expensive.. so i bought the saunders 5th edition book. i saw vids on youtube that its a really great updated book. i might do that and review my hurst and practice la charity and kaplan questions.i thought i gave my all with this recent exam but i guess it wasn't my all in gods eyes. i want this so bad. thank you so much for your kind words. i needed that.

DO NOT GIVE UP!!!! I passed on my 5th try and had done reviews like crazy. Don't feel like you can't pass if you don't use a review, you can!! You have your Hurst book, so review your content from there. I think you also said you have LaCharity and Saunders, so use them. Most of all, you need to believe in yourself. Take a couple of days, go through the grieving process, and then get back on that horse and ride. It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks, it matters what YOU think about you!!! You were able to pass nursing school, so you can pass this test! This is a bump in the road, and is a test of your perseverance and determination now. NCLEX doesn't define you and noone will think badly about you unless you give up. Your patients certainly won't care how many times you took your boards, they only care that you are there to take care of them and you know your stuff. Put every other time you have tested behind you and approach this like it is the first time you are taking NCLEX. You know your stuff, now you have to apply it and answer the way NCLEX wants you to answer, not necessarily how you want to or what you would do if you were in the hospital. Keep coming back here for support, cuz you will get it!!! You can do it!!! Hang in there and don't ever give up!!! :tinkbll::flwrhrts:

Wer on the same boat friend! Im going on 5 yrs being stuck at home too. I feel really depress. I will finally have money to register for my exam. I just really have to study extra hard dont know how Im gonna do it considering i have 2 kids with no help at all. I wish we wer neighbor so we can help support each other. I wanna feel successful I know God will guide us.
