failed TEAS test, has anyone tried to apply with the new criteria.

Hi! I need some advises, I failed the teas test and Grossmont college takes only the first attempt according their criteria.they told me that I can retake the test but my chances to get in are really low: is there anybody that had taken the test twice an got accepted with the new criteria.

I don't know anything about Grossmont but why not look into other schools? Some schools will let you take it a second time and use the highest score. Just do some research and see what your alternatives are. Don't take it again though until you are absolutely ready.

Good luck!

I took a second look at your schools program and I dont think that you are going to be able to get in there with a zero score for your TEAS.

I like what your school has done with laying out the requirements out front, they also let you know how many points you will get based on sci gpa, overall gpa, firstTEAS attempt, special status, degree status and language ability. But seeing that the TEAS is 40% of the points, and those points are no longer applicable to you, it may be best to work very hard on a remedial program and get a high score on the TEAS and apply elsewhere.

I am not saying that Grossmont is out of the question, but very unlikely unless you have a 4.0 GPA, a 4 year degree and vol exp, low income status and are proficent in another language. But even if all that applies you are still better off looking elsewhere.
