Well what I did for the second time was I took the Hurst online review. I thought that this review focused on what we really needed and didn't go overboard. This is just my experience. Best of luck to you.

Hi
I would suggest do the Suzanne plan. It is in a sticky at the top of the forum...Meanwhile I would like to share what I did.... first I did Kaplan... then did the Suzanne plan , also while studying i would browse on the internet for answers to queries i had ... the search box on the top of this page was another important tool... I would type in the topic and search...also ... check out icufaqs.com...believe me i answered some questions on the NCLEX RN becoz I had read most of the topics on that website!!! Answering questions is another tool... All the best to you!!! :)

Suzanne's Plan is a Sticky at the top of the page here. I would also suggest reading the Random Facts Sticky. Lots of good info and memory joggers there.
:hngon:HANG IN THERE! Good luck:heartbeat
Thank you for the help. Where is the "sticky"? Does anyone know if Kaplan class is a good investment?

I have failed twice also and am going to try Suzanne's plan also. I took Kaplan before but it does work for some people. Good luck to you.
Did you take Kaplan befor your second try? Do you feel it helped some? What course did you take?:typing
I did take Kaplan before my second try. I feel like it was good information just maybe not the right program for me.

I only used Kaplan (I did some questions from a few other review books but did not find them helpful) and I passed with 75 questions.
But before embarking on a new study plan, I think you first need to figure out what your strengths and weaknesses are. Some people struggle with the knowledge area and others struggle with the analysis-based questions.

If all else fails, call Kaplan test prep and admissions...money back guarantee, could cost up to $500-or as low as $400--depending on your negotiating ability...but they're a well know testing facility that you can access online for NCLEX prep. and you'll pass with flying colors...you obviously already have a fortune invested, this may not be financially plausible for you, but if nothing's working.... GOOD LUCK-you WILL get there, you've gottEN THIS far...DO NOT GIVE UP!!
how was Kaplan in your opinion? Getting ready to do NCLEX and Kaplan just came to campus...do you suggest using them...costly @ 379.00$$--but if it's worth it, then it's worth it!!
thank you for your input. I am starting kaplan, I was lucky enough to have a friend give me this as a gift. I have done Suzannes' plan also, but need more practice. thank you and I hope it works for me.
