Hello! I just finished another NCLEX-RN exam and unfortunately did not pass. I am in the state of Hawaii. Freaking out as what to do as according to them, after the 3rd time of failing, I need to do a remedial course. I tried to look it up online, on which ones I can sign up for, I could not find one. I also tried to call them, but I guess, they are closed on Saturdays. I did get the letter from them that I can re-register in pearson vue and then the board will see if I am eligible. I am kind of losing hope and very frustrated that I have not been able to pass this test.
Any advice would be appreciated.

READ saunders and uworld. Practice questions, nclex is really hard for me coz I only used Saunders. My husband used uworld and I could say it will help you to understand question. I passed nclex for the 1st try at 75 questions for 2hrs and 10 minutes. I read the questions word by word and I did not care if there is 265 questions which is wrong lol. Be patient and practice more it will help you. Don't loose hope dear! ?

You can pass using only Saunders. Two major mistakes students make:
1. Waiting until the end of the nursing program to purchase Saunders...get it during your first semester and study as you go.
2. Not reading the rationales. Don't say, "I got it right!" and move on...do you know WHY you got it right? You may have used the wrong rationale.

Hi I'm just wondering if you were able to find some answers. I am too on the same boat as you. Unfortunately, HI BON requires a remedial course if you have taken the exam atleast 3x regardless of the jurisdiction. And from what they had told me, they accept state of FLORIDA schools that offers Remedial classes.
