I am in the same situation so I dont know how great what Im doing is until I take the exam again. Im using Suanders 5th edition, reviwing the content from this book is great. The bad thing about our situation is that we failed, I know it sucks, but the good thing is that you have seen the wording and what kind of questions they ask. I know I needed to study my infection control and endocrine, so I did and Im feeling more confident. Wait for your results to come in the mail so you can see how you did and what areas you need to work on. For me since I was near pass on everything Im reviewing everything. Start out new as if you've never taken the exam. All together I study around 3-4 hours a day, reviewing content and answering questions. I also have the LaCharity book and exam cram, Im also anwersing the kaplan qtrainers that I got here from allnurses. Stay positive, have faith. If you just graduated there is a great chance of you passing the 2nd time, take it when you feel prepared but dont wait to long. Good Luck, and God bless
First of all do NOT give up on yourself! After all you graduated nursing school! I took the Kaplan review course and I found that extremely helpful. Granted it is pretty pricey, but I think if I would have taken that I would have never passed. Also try to review the items that you felt were on the test the most. For instance, I had a lot of transmission-based questions and priority.
Also say lots of prayers! You can and will pass NCLEX! :)

Good morning all! I just found out this morning that I failed the NCLEX! I am feeling really disappointed and hurt right now, but I am NOT going to give up!! Can anyone give me any good study tips on how to approach studying for this the second time? I took the HURST review, read the Kaplan book, and studied NCLEX 4000 questions. I am not sure what else to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
