Failed NCLEX

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I just found out today that I failed my NCLEX. I have had such bad luck with getting a job. I've been graduated for 3 months, and no job. I finally got the opportunity to interview at two floors at a hospital near me and I faile the test. Now I have to wait even longer to interview. I feel so...horrible. I was hoping to get a job because I am working on moving out anf now I don't know what to do. Could someone please give me some study tips or any good websites. I would appreciate it very much.

Thank you

Sara

our real blessings often appear to us in the shapes of pains, losses, and disappointments; but let us have patience, and we soon shall see them in their proper figures.

Courage is what happens when your desire to make positive progress is greater than your fear of a negative setback. Courage is what happens when you look at those fears, listen to them, learn from them, use them to prepare, and then move boldly forward.

Courage is how problems are turned into opportunities. Courage is why some people are able to move the situation forward though there seems to be no hope.

Courage is when you do what you know is right, even if it is the more difficult and unpopular choice. Courage is something that builds new strength each time it is exercised.

Courage is not something that you must obtain or struggle to develop. Courage is a choice that can be yours the moment you decide to use it.

When the goal is worthy and filled with meaning, the courage to reach it will be there. When your sense of purpose is strong and clear, your courage will be too.

Courage is indeed a powerful way to live. And you can choose it every time.

 Here Here~ That is awesome~ I also found out on the 16th that I did not pass my boards! These are truly words to live by! What awesome encouragement! My only advise is to ge lots of sleep before the boards! I have the unfortunate circumstance of only having 2 hours sleep before my phone rang with drama on the other end and hence no more sleep for me....live and learn I say!! Thank you again!

gramsdoll3..... what i think helped me the most was kaplan... both the 'Q trainer' tests and the 'Q bank' online plus the test taking strategy book... i think kaplan's questions are the most similar to the nclex questions... and the book focuses on how to read the questions and identify what they are asking from you on nclex....... hope that helps.. and i wish you best of luck!

Thanks to everyone for the tips and words of encouragement. I really appreciate it.

I agree with bebe13.... I failed the nclex twice was overwhelm and depress at first but this just let me have so much more appreciation for the career of nursing. I'm now studying with saunders and suzanne's guide.

Best of luck to all who have to take the nclex:angryfire

First off I will say it's ok to be sad and depressed. It is important to pick yourself up and try to start getting your mind around having to study again. YOU will PASS this exam. I failed the first time, and passed the second time. After failing I had heard about suzannes plan. So, I started studying using her first tip and Saunders. Keep your chin up and it will happen!
