Failed Nclex 1st time 265qtns, passed 45 days later with 265qtns....

here is my story...ok so i took my nclex june 4 and failed with 265 qtns, that killed me and left me with no hope for tomorrow..i was an B/A student thru out school and to fail that test after 6 hrs u can imagine what was goin thru my mind......but after a week of crying am a fighter i had to pick up my broken pieces and move forward...I did hurst 1st time and i wasnt changing 2nd time round...i came home that night did the pearson trick and the dang thing took me to the credit card page and that same day i paid another 200 and registered for another test and within 3 days i received my CPI and was Near passing in all areas.....i decided to do hurst remediation bt this time i incorporated Lacharity (U have to get this book)...I used hurst for content and its qtns then did lacharity priotizing and delegation...i rescheduled my test exactly 45 days later and July 20th, i was off to give nclex-rn another try...this time i felt pretty confident...ohh i forgot, the night before, i read the nclex study guide going around on this site and let me tell you, i would pay whoever made that thing...i save my ass..lol..so, story short, i walked in the testin center and started my test, this time i prayed more...my test started pretty easy, it scared me bt around qtn 20 they started suffocating me with Select all on every other qtn...God i hate Select all....bt this time round they were pretty straight up...to bad i cnt give you an example here...lol...bt it was way better than the 1st time...then around qtn 50 i started getting infection control/tons of priotizing-who would do assess first, triage qtns...@ qtn 74, i prayed to the living God that my computer dont shut off @ 75, i need more qtns coz i thot i was failing....it went 76, i started breathing again....then, 100,200 (***- thats wat was on my mind...sry)....245, 260,and finally, my test went to max 265 bt i was 100% sure i did well on couple of last qtns and most sure of the last qtn...my test shut off and that was it....i knew i may b returning there in 45 days....lol...and guess what 5minutes i had gotten into my car and logged on to pearson and it said DELivery successful, God i wanted to do the trick soo bad bt i started crying and couldnt...i drove all the way home in tears coz i didnt kno wat to think...my frnd called me asked me how it was and i was balling...she convinced me to do the trick like i had done to her wen she took it last month and she had ended up giving me her passwrd i was taken to the Credit card page so she had failed....i decided to give her my passwrd bt told her nt to tell me if i passed/nt .....i dnt wanna kno...this was 3pm, i started my test @8a and didnt get out til 2, so....6hrs...with 2 breaks...lol....so i came home went to bed and couldnt sleep bt i kept loggin on to pearson bt couldnt do the trick.....lol...seriously, i logged on like 10x and wen i get to clicking next wen it either giv u the CC page / good pop up i would shut the computer off...lol....so, @ 2am, my frnd had nt talked to me so i knew i had failed since i if i had passed, she prolly would hav called...bt i told her nt to..lol...@ this point, i couldnt take it anymore, i had to do it and to my suprise, i got the famous pop up....i couldnt believe it....i mean there was no way....i did that trick all night after every 10min jst to make sure it hasnt changed.....lol....i still didnt believe it bt i was true for me the 1st time so i jst had to wait.....on Sunday morning, i paid and got quick results and i had passed...monday my license was up on the BON site.....its bin the worst 2months and i cnt explain the relief i got....this site has encouraged me thru out this time and i jst had to share my story bcoz ave bin where some pple are and guys, THERE IS HOPE...trust me....wish all of you the very best....Dont give up!!!

Hi congratulations ))) i am in a saim boat i didn't pass with 265 and 6 hours (((( i am using La Charity, Lippincott's q&a and study guid, i hope God will bless me ))) AMEN

I'm in the same situation you were in, it's very stressful and I'm taking my test again August 21st... I first used hurst but I didn't do the remediation I got a refund and I got kapplan now. I also bought exam cram by Pearson and that has a cd of 1500 questions. I'm desperate and I will try anything. Congratulations on passing you must feel like a huge weight is lifted off your shoulders:) I was wondering if you could post the link or copy and paste the review you said you found on here. I would love to see it.

Congrats on passing! I agree the study guide on this website saved me as well... SPIDERMAN and MRSWEE and MTV were very much on my mind!! Luckily I didnt get many pediatric questions! I made sure to answer those questions right the first time around!! I also got 265 questions. 37 SATA and 8 Math Questions and 1 Prioritization question and 4 Picture Questions.
