  1. Hello all, I passed my second nclex attempt today. First try I got 258 questions and today I got 120... I definately got different questions of course but it was not more difficult that the first time. I'd say they were both pretty difficult I got a lot of SATA on both tests, and a lot of priority and meds. Honestly if you do not have kaplan, get it. The trainer tests were so similar to questions I saw on the exam. Go over every rationale even if you got the question right. You learn content that way too. But I'm blabbering now, to answer the question No the test is definately not harder.
  2. Thanks everyone:) yes I did the pvt and it says I can't reschedule another exam at this time!!! That's the good pop up... I keep checking just to make sure it doesn't change. Lol
  3. Thanks! This time I used Kaplan and only studied off of the trainer tests... I would take a test then go over every single rationale right or wrong and while I did that if I was unsure about anything or felt like I didn't know what the disease was or med etc., I would look it up and right it down. Doing hurst the first time was great to brush up on content but I failed the first time. I recommend going over practice questions daily because that actually helps you with content as well. Good luck to everybody:)
  4. Hey everyone this morning I took the NCLEX again and I passed with 120 questions!!! I'm so happy and relieved. For any Repeat test takers you can do it and good luck!!!
  5. Hey congratulations!!! I finished my test at 10am got 120 questions and the screen turned off! Went home and did the PVT and got the good pop up!! Congratulations to the both of us:) the world just gained two more RN's
  6. Good luck!!! I'm taking my test for the second time tomorrow also at 8am!! I'm so scared. I hope your outcome this time is the good pop up:)
  7. Thank you soooo much!!! tomorrow is the big day. Round 2 ahhhhhh I'm so scared:uhoh3:
  8. I'm in the same situation you were in, it's very stressful and I'm taking my test again August 21st... I first used hurst but I didn't do the remediation I got a refund and I got kapplan now. I also bought exam cram by Pearson and that has a cd of 1500 questions. I'm desperate and I will try anything. Congratulations on passing you must feel like a huge weight is lifted off your shoulders:) I was wondering if you could post the link or copy and paste the review you said you found on here. I would love to see it.

  13. Thank you!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed and studying my butt off for the next month:) I'll let you all know the outcome
  14. I just got Kapplan. Does Lacharity have questions? I will be buying that book because I've had a few people recommend it. Do you do a certain amount of questions a day?
  15. Don't give up! I was upset too but you have to move on and try again... I'm so happy I have gotten over failing. I feel like I know where I went wrong and I'm going to study as much as I can and take it again August 21st. I took it July 3rd. And come on, 45 days is already going by so quick. All you can do is hope for the best and try again. Don't be too upset:)
