Failed NCLEX PN 205 questions

Guys i took my exam on 19 may got 205 questions. And yesterday i got my result which state.

My name xxx has not pass the exam. It was regular size envelop and inside there were 3 white and 2 yellow papers.

yellow papers represents application process.so first thing i did today send 75 $ check to board already for retake process/

So i was sad whole day yesterday sitting alone in my room. those my frinds who failed exam they told me it will take 3 to 4 days to recover then u can restart study...

Last time i did not touch saunders book at all i was doing just CD questions.

But this time i have decided to buy exam cram book and also plan to study saunders book.

Pls let me know whats the best way to study and pass exam in next attemp. thanks

Sorry to hear you failed.

Yes definitely give yourself a few days break before setting a study plan together. Don't over do it but do something that would suit you, I did 2 hours a day when working and 4 hours when not working and just practised questions and looked at the rationales. Don't rush to resit the exam

Study as if you had never tested before. You want to make sure that you cover everything because there is a tendency for the mind to want to skip over things because it believes you already know it. You have to go everything all over again. Good luck this time.

I FAILED it again for the second time. I dont know if i want to try it again for the 3rd time..This stupid exam is crucial. I dont really know what it is testing you.

Hey do not give up. you only fail when you give up. you did not pass. i did mine on saturday no results yet but i think i did not pass because i used the pearson trick and it took me all the way to cc and pay, so am back to my books. You will be a nurse. :lol2:

My life depends on it. I give too much time and money and energy and if only the Board knows how hard it is to sit on a review class just to pass this stupid exam..I give up work just to review and nothing happen because they put all this stupid questions and SATA's and unknown meds in there to keep you failing..I have nothing right now..i stay with a friend here in DC and now WHAT?? I FAILED IT AGAIN..I dont even know how to tell my family , my friends that i failed again..Its HORRIBLE..The BON dont freaking care..and they will make it more harder for others to pass this exam...So good luck..OH BY the way..I am an International LPN..maybe there has something to do with it..They wont let me pass since i did not get my training in the US..

I know it is hard waiting but DO NOT RUSH to resit the exam, that is just leaving it open to fail again. Practice doing questions and rad the rationale even if you get it right. DO NOT over do it on studying i.e. do not spend several hours a day doing questions aim for 100 a day 2-3 hours day and keep at it.

I am not stupid or dumb at all. I finish my nursing school. Im on the top 5 of the class. I dont understand why i cant pass this exam. I very well know my English, i can speak it well and understand. I read the questions and understand what there were asking and i know that i choose the right answer..I dont understand why i still FAILED..what am i doing wrong??I attended a review class in Chicago and finish the whole thing..so still why did i fail??They have questions that are not even nursing related or not even bedside nursing...its stupid!!What is the odd of passing it on the third try if i cant pass it on the first and second??I spend so much money on this already..and all it is a simple pass or fail..and 85 questions to pass..What should i do??

2brichieelpn08, if you feel something is not right, you can try challenging them and appeal. i read on the bronchure that pearson give you after the exam? there is somewhere its says something like that. i know it can be depressing

Its easy to say. I have to wait for another 45 freaking day to get my eligibility again and then wait for another month to receive it tru slow mail in CA..then another three months to waste for this freaking exam that wont let you pass. I dont want to spend another amount of money to attend review class , buy all this freaking book ..doesnt even help at all..cause the question on NCLEX is different from the book... I didnt over do it..I know what i've study this time ..but they ask you stupid questions on the test..that's what it is..

i failed my exam in first try. Those students who were below average than me they pass ther exam in first attempt. Whole year in private school they took all there exam by retaking. Some people have very good luck.

But think i know CA there result process is slow. But the good thing in there is no limit in CA u can take ur exam many times. but in other states if u fail 3 times then u have to reapeat program.

I didnt give it at all. u gona take ur exam 3rd time. so by now u already know lot of stuff or u have to look it again and its like review for u.

For me i baught kaplam q bank. i took martin review classes. but what i didnt do to open saunders book or any other review book.

So from my side i will recommeded u to buy exam cram edition 2 book. and also study saunders book.

in saunders book it has 66 chapters so if u do 6 chapter in a day by 10 to 15 days u ll be finish whole book.

this is my plan to do while i m waitinf for my packet. one more thing if u need cliffnotes lpn review let me know i can send u file its digitial book. just send me ur e mail address.

At the end just remember ( I m religious person ii belived in god too much ,,and one of the church guy joel osteen used to say every time)

Today is friday for u..........But dont forget that sunday is coiming too

its means u r not pasing ur exam at this moment. things not favouring u so its friday for u

but dont forget sunday is coming everything will be fine for u.......
