I'm so bummed and depressed about it! I knew it was hard material and I used as many study tools as I could in addition to the books. I was already doubting my choice to do EC and even go the RN route (not sure if I even want to be a nurse right now) and this didn't help! I'm also bummed that I am so far in debt that this extra $$ was wasted on an exam that would have gone towards impt bills. Oh well, I have a lot of thinking to do.
Good luck to everyone else and I know a few of you have CPNE's coming up- I'm thinking about you guys!

One failed exam does not mean you made a bad decision.
You have time to do this. There's no reason not to chill for a little bit.

Change don't give up!I failed the HD2 and Transitions:crying2: but I retook Transitions and passed and I am scheduled to retake HD2 May 24. Yeah its frustrating but after I jump this last nursing exam hurdle, I will be CPNE eligible. Look at the Big Picture! I could have given up a long time ago but I didn't. I will be a nurse! Good Luck and don't give up!

Don't let this setback trip you up. Remember you can reschedule exams if you find that you aren't prepared. Might take a little longer but worth the time spent when you pass. Good luck on your retake.

:crying2:Feel what you feel and then let it go, you can do it. I failed NC2 2x's and NC3. I did give up for a moment I felt like I was not smart enough for this. I went and got a mentor at work who set me stright. Since then I have passed NC 3,4,5,and now I am testing for NC6 this week. I will go back to NC2 after nc7.

Changeofpace,You are smart enough to do this,You were smart enough to get through an LPN program,Then you can do this!I think the biggest reason people fail the exams is not enough study time.
EC recommends 180 hrs of study time for a 4 credit course! That is the estimated class/study time if you took a classroom course. Now I know most of us only study a fraction of that. But,you should not feel pressed to take an exam before you feel prepared,That is why the program is self paced,so we can go at our own pace and not someone elses!Hope this makes you feel better:heartbeat:wink2:!!!
