hi everyone...so i took the nclex rn exam 3 days ago. and i had to do all the 265 questions. and i looked at the ca. brn website to check for my name but im not there. i guess i failed like what im expecting. so i dont want to see the written result anymore coz i know i failed.
im really depressed. i had lots of infection control questions, prioritization, delegation, only 1 sata, lots of pharmacology (meds that im not familiar with).
[color=#2f4f4f]so .....i failed.
According to the NCLEX-RN review books, if you get the 265 questions, the very last one is the determiner as to whether you passed or not, because half of your answers have been correct (above the line) and half have been wrong (below the line).
Do you have something that states otherwise?

This is stated on the NSCBN website
If the maximum number of items have been answered, and the computer still isn't 95% certain of whether the examinee's ability is above or below the passing standard, then the 95% certainty requirement is dropped.
Hi, im from NC too..How does the quick results work or what's the website. I looked all over pearson vue website and i can't find it. I took my test Nov 11..Since u passed is ur name on the ncbon website yet??
The website I went to was http://www9.pearsonvue.com/nclex You have to have an account there to view the results. Did you test at a pearson vue testing center? I think you have to test at their actual center to see the results on their website. If you did, log on to your account and there should be a link to click on to pay for the quick results, if the results are already up. Hope that helps. My name showed up on the ncbon website a couple of days ago. It took a few days after the test to show.
OOHHHH MMYY GGOOODDDD !!!!
I Passed
I wrote my RN's on Mon. November 10th in Buffalo NY. I was so nervous
I am an old Nurse of 23 yrs and thought that I would not pass because of being out of the study mode...psych, maternity, peds, drugs etc all I have ever known is med/surg.
I just can't believe it. I have been praying,,,and already thinking about how to study for the next time around. I am sooo happy,,,,I hope those that wrote with me, and those of you who have written elsewhere have passed also..!!! Good Luck to you all.!!!:bow:

I passed with 265 questions and 5 hours also! It was nerve racking, that's for sure. It was my second time taking the exam. Like you, I was already looking at book stores online to see what books would help me the next time around! Congrats to you!!!!
