I don't know if my posting went on. Sorry if my postings comes on twice. Well. I failed my CRNE twice. I really thought at both times that I had passed. I am failing by a few points. And wondering if anyone could give me further advice.
I studied with the CRNE prep guide. I thought it would of been sufficient enough. But I guess it wasn't, on my case. I know it's easier for some to pass and while others it's a challenge. In Nursing school; I did well. B+ to A's....so I am wondering, whats wrong with me>>>
Pressure is on for me; this will be my last time to write it. So any advice will help me. I plan to write in June or August.

Hello Rosie,
When did you write your exam, when was it?
I would suggest to take a preparation course in area where you live or try other preparation materials (Saunders for NCLEX-RN) is a good sourse...
I wrote my CRNE in February this year and still waiting for the result..

Hello! CRNE exam info; access the web site Canadian Nurses' Association. And the CRNE & NCLEX....I'm not sure how much equivalent the two exams are.
:)

Hi Rosie,
I've writen both my CNRE (Canadian) and the NCLEX (US). I would not recommend studying from any NCLEX guide as the US nursing board exam is very different than the Canadian exam. It tends to focus more on anatomy/physiology and pharmacology whereas the Canadian exam I found to have a lot of psychosocial questions. There are good guides for the Canadian exam too. The CNRE guide put out by the CNA I found the best (which you already used I think). Mosby also has a good guide (though the questions a little more factual based than the actual exam). The Canadian exam now also has short answer questions and I believe that the CNA guide is the only one that addresses those types of questions. Good luck to you,
Janet

How do you know you are failing by a few points? I thought you only get pass or fail not actual marks, just curious!
