Received official results today, scored 487 & they say 500 is passing. OMG SOOO close!!! I just want to cry! Sucks to be so close but have to go through on the pain & misery again for studying & retesting!

Hi, sorry, it's disappointing for sure, but just get back up and get the next one scheduled and look on the bright side - you will rock it next time. I did well with the Fitzgerald study guide and cds, heard her voice in my sleep. I am a classic over thinker
, and they helped me know what the test is looking for.
Good Luck!

I have Fitzgerald's review book. I'd strongly recommend taking a live review course, I attended Fitzgerald's review course and it was very helpful. Also, take some practice questions online 1-2 weeks before your board. I purchased the Q bank from APEA. Leik's review questions are one of the best study tools and I had 2 questions on the board exam worded exactly the same from Leik's book. Good luck and I am sure you'll pass the next one.

I have had several people tell me that Leik's book was dead on with the test...There is a new version out too that has mistakes corrected.
I retested today & PASSED!!!!!!!

Congratulations - that must be a big weight off! Was there anything in particular that you think made the difference on the retest?

Congrats on passing AANP! I have not commented before on here but I have been reading many threads as I prepared to take my AANP exam. I passed on Feb 6, 2014. I appreciated your previous comments RNOB. Those comments helped me with my preparation.

Congratulations! Where did you go to school and what did you do differently to pass the test?
You must be so relieved to have the test behind you.
Thanks Adenium! I was super anxious the 1st time & felt like i rushed through the exam as my nerves were getting the best of me. I really worked on not being so anxious this time & I feel like that really helped!
Thanks & congrats to you too!!!

Indiana State University & I really worked on keeping my anxiety low this 2nd time around!
Thanks RNOB. I've been looking at them too and I have to make a decision soon! Despite this horrid winter, summer (and graduation from Walden) is coming.
Congratulations and thanks again
