  1. I am a new graduate from a FNP program 12/2013. I recently started working in a OB/GYN office treating GYN patients for annual well exams and problem visits.
  2. bebaRN, I decided to take the AANP because it is a more clinical base exam. Where as the ANCC has research and theory included on that exam. That is not my best area, though I did well in those classes in my studies.
  3. I am a new FNP graduate that has accepted a position with a two doctor OB/GYN group with a WHNP. I am excited because I wanted to focus in women's health but chose the FNP route to be more marketable, if I needed to be. Since I just passed AANP, I am waiting on my approval from the State of Ohio for my APRN license to apply for my NPI and DEA. Then I can start the credentialing process with health insurance.

Congrats on passing AANP! I have not commented before on here but I have been reading many threads as I prepared to take my AANP exam. I passed on Feb 6, 2014. I appreciated your previous comments RNOB. Those comments helped me with my preparation.
