Failed the AANP and ANCC

Hello everyone

So I took the AANP in March 2011 after taking the Fitz course, and failed (personally I didn't think I was ready), but I thought I would try. Then I purchased the Barkley Assoc CD and Home Course and studied better from his work. So in Aug, 2011, I took the ANCC and it was FULL of ethical, cultural, and Standard of Nursing questions, all of which I didn't study; hence I failed again. I'm sooo sad and ready to give up. But I worked so hard. I have two small children and really need to pass. I'm losing hope...Did anyone else fail more than once? Is there hope? Any help is good help. Thank you!!!

I just want to let everyone know that God allowed me to pass the AANP exam today!!!!!!!!! I am so happy and glad that I can finally put that test behind me. I would like to thank NPluvsalsa for her help and advice. Hope 1272 hang in there you WILL PASS the exam. I saw a few questions from the Hollier review book worded the exact same way. For all that have passed it is a great feeling and Congrats! For those of you that have not passed I know that it is a bad feeling and it is okay to fail because if you trust God He will pick you up! Prayer and fasting works I am a witness! John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. I trust Jesus and I asked Him to allow me to pass and He did it!!!!!!!! God Bless everyone!

Congrats Jane! Thank GOD! That is wonderful. I cant wait to take my exam in May. Gonna take the AANP as well. I have been listening to Fitzgerald and Barkley religiously and studying from 5 certification exam books. I am learning so much :). Keep me in your prayers ladies please

Congratulations!!!! You deserve it, for all your studying and all that you've been through, God IS GOOD!!! When I read your post I was soooo happy for you. I kept waiting to hear those words; and you DID IT!!!! You are my inspiration! I am going to take my test in April and I'm scared. Please keep me in your prayers.

Hello All

Just wanted to say that I took the AANP on April 26th and passed. I was and AM SO excited! I must say, my test was originally scheduled a few weeks prior and I went to take it, got through approximately 130 questions when their computer crashed! They lost ALL my answers! I was devastated. The thought of going there again, sitting down for all those answers and experiencing yet ANOTHER day of stress, was stressing me out even more. But i rescheduled and passed. I would like to thank all of you who gave me support, confidence, positive energy, and most of all Prayers! Jane33 you rock-thanks for your constant prayers!!!! You all have been a blessing in my life and the prayers helped me above and beyond. I want everyone to know that you can do it! Good luck to all of you and first and foremost may God bless you all and keep you safe, in the glory of Jesus!!!! Yeah!
