ale022, The best advice that I can give is if you can afford it take the NPreview webinar by Maria Leiks. I understand just how you feel. If you can not afford to take the webinar try to review some of the content you saw on the test. You may see that material again. I wish you the best!

Whitecloud, I took both exams twice. I passed AANP second time. I have posted a lot of information on this thread about study materials. I would be glad to answer any of your questions but please make sure you have read my previous post on this thread so that I am not repeated the same information. Please feel free to ask me questions.

cc113,I took the Leik webinar review course. The first time I took that test was in September 2011 then I took the ANCC and failed so I took some time off because of the stress and the holidays. I took the review course in February then I retook the AANP test in March two weeks after completing the course. It was like six months from the previous test. I knew I needed to take a review course because I felt I was studying wrong. That review course was the biggest help! It was only by the grace of God that I passed that test because it was hard. It took me the entire 3 hours! I was praising God when I saw the words pass on the screen! Yes there were some repeat questions. It was more like the same questions asked in a different way. God did it for me and He will do it for you! God bless!

cc113,That test was difficult but you can do it! I failed that test the first time I took it. I know how you feel because I was there! You are not dumb! You did not get this far by being dumb! I pray that you will pass this test! Be encouraged and think positive.

Aslingtl, Please be encouraged! I know just how you feel. Failing the exams took a toll on me personally. I put out so much money that I didn't feel like I would ever recover! Not to mention the stress and heartache!But God works all things out for your good! When you put this behind you you will appreciate God even more! This is a test from GOD! This situation may feel overwhelming but it is a small situation. There is nothing to hard or big for God! God bless.

kourt2213, I am sorry to hear that you did not pass the exam. That is a very tough exam. I know just how you feel. You did prepare for the test its just when axiety sets in it makes you feel like you don't know the answers. Look at my previous posts regarding how I studied. I did the Fitzgerald CDs. I thought they were good but I felt that Maria Leiks review was better fit to prepare me for the AANP exam. I am praying for you and I believe that you will pass that test! Don't give up! Don't over do it! Study for a couple hours a day especailly areas on the test that you felt you were really weak in. If you take that exam again you will see the same material presented in a different way. You can do it! I am praying for you!
