Extremely scared of taking the NCLEX

Published

I finally (after graduating in May of this year) scheduled my NCLEX. My test date is about 2 and a half weeks from today. I've been doing questions everyday for about 4 days now and must i say that I am so discouraged and I really feel that I am going to fail because I cannot get the "who do you see first" questions right and only half of the delegation ones right. Someone please help. I have literally been dreaming that I failed the NCLEX and cry myself to sleep everyday :crying2:

I would like to share with you guys that I passed the NCLEX!! I am so happy and so grateful to each of you for all the support you all provided during that challenging time!! You guys are awesome. Thanks again!!

i suggest getting the Lacharity book. It really helped with the priority questions. I just took the test today, did the pearson trick, and got the good pop up. i feel that the lacharity book helped! good luck to you!

hey johanna i just wanted to say congrats ! you deserver it , by the way i am also using exam cram can you give me any feedbacks pls?because i am taking my test tomorrow and you know how that feels hehe thanks enjoy your license!

Study Cram is very efficient. You need to stay on top of delegation and priority. I honestly studieduntil the day of the exam but I wouldn't suggest adding that stress to your life. Make sure you eat a nice and healthy breakfast and remember to relax. Idk if you are spiritual/religious but if you are say a nice prayer before bed and tomorrow morning. Make sure you take your time with each question and you DO NOT overthink any question. Once you make a choice and go on to the next question forget about the previous question and move on. If you see harder and harder questions, do not be afraid and take your time and know that the harder the questions the harder the better you are doing on the exam.

Well I took my NCLEx yesterday and passed! I bought LaCharity, and the alernate format questions book and my school paid for Hurst but I only watched the videos and took 3 of the 6 available tests. I got the Kaplan and Saunders strategies books from the library. I got about 10 drugs 8 of which I did not now, the two I knew were Zyprexa and one of the -prils, about 6 isolation questions, 2 gout, 8 delegation and the rest is a blur. I was happy when the computer did not shut off at 75 because I thought for sure I was not passing then it cut off at 109 (i think it was somewhere between 102-111). Then i did the trick and go the good pop up. Thank you to all of the posts that helped me. This is the best nursing website ever:nurse: Woo Hoo I am a nurse
