Extremely scared of taking the NCLEX

I finally (after graduating in May of this year) scheduled my NCLEX. My test date is about 2 and a half weeks from today. I've been doing questions everyday for about 4 days now and must i say that I am so discouraged and I really feel that I am going to fail because I cannot get the "who do you see first" questions right and only half of the delegation ones right. Someone please help. I have literally been dreaming that I failed the NCLEX and cry myself to sleep everyday :crying2:

Assess yourself how well do you know the contents. Having a good knowledge of contents is very helpful in prioritization. Get books that teach you strategies. Reschedule if you are not ready. Practice answering many questions and understand their rationales. If you are more prepared, it should be less stressful for you.

You have to know your core content first before you can even begin to know how to prioritize! I did the Hurst Review and it really helped me understand the core content, which then helped me chose those, "who do you assess first" questions. As for delegation, really know what you a LPN cannot do and what a CNA cannot do. It will help you weed out some choices. Good luck on the NCLEX! You can do it!

Thanks so much for the advice. I will take everything into consideration. I find myself good in content but foreign when it comes to the who do you see first. I will definitely look into your advice

I get that as an RN you do not delegate anything you cab EAT (evaluate, assess, teach). I will continue to review unknown content

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm determined to kick the NCLEX's behind!!! You too will excel. I'm currently doing Kaplan and ExamCram. The Kaplan questions are tough but everyone ive encountered that has taken the exam really recommend it. I hope this helps. Positive minds will yield positive results. :)
