I got a job at MD Anderson! :)) I applied online when I saw their graduate nurse residency open up! I'll be working at a clinical nurse on a GU floor and I couldn't be more excited to start working at such a great hospital! :) Thank you again!!! I'm so nervous but excited to start this new journey!

PM me if you want :) 2011GradRN - The residency I applied for was originally stated to start Nov. 28 but they pushed it back since HR and the managers were running behind on reviewing all the applicants. So now we are starting Dec. 12. I'm haven't heard any GN residency that starts in February.

Ahhh I got a job at MD Anderson!! OMG I feel so lucky and blessed to be picked to work in such a amazing hospital! The nurse recruiter called me at 5pm today (I was anxious the whole day today, hoping to hear from them) and the recruiter informed me that they were going forward with offering me at position! OMG I cried out of happiness! I accepted the position right away b/c MDA was my #1 choice. I just wanted to share the GREAT NEWS! THANK YOU GOD! PS I was hired onto the GU floor and I interviewed on October 28 and the residency starts December 12th! :redpinkhe:w00t:

I didn't even know they changed the career site! :/ I still haven't recieved a call from MDA yet, but I'm remaining hopeful. Waiting to hear from them is so nerve-wreaking! This quote is what another person told me about MDA "I am also a new grad who interviewed at MD and still waiting for a reply. I spoke to a recruiter who I have been in contact with since the beginning and she told me this. Last week they finished up the interviews and had a few meetings to select the candidates. They are running behind schedule and this leads me to believe they won't begin the program on November 28th. They still have to send out recommendations so I believe it will take a few more days and maybe into next week. This kills me cause I have turned down two job offers cause I have high hopes for MD. We just have to hope for the best cause I know our offers will come through. Best wishes to everyone!" I hope it helps

Yes I guess our only option is to stay strong lol. I think I will call again tomorrow and bug them haha. I wonder how many GN's they are hiring?

Hey Ashlee, I have a interview with Methodist Willowbrook tomorrow! What floor did you apply for? What kind of questions did they ask? Any tips would be great

Arg I was thinking the same thing! I haven't heard from them yet and neither has one of my friends who also interviewed with MDA. Waiting to hear from them is making me crazyyy! lol. I hope tomorrow is the day.
