hi there
just thought i start a new thread with a mission to find out where the majority of nurses posts appear to be available. ie the states with the worst shortages??
not sure if this is the best forum however i couldnt find another appropriate one. maybe one of the mods will move me if they think of a better place for this to be;)

Densely-populated metropolitan areas with large immigrant populations usually tend to be nursing shortage areas. Los Angeles, Phoenix, and the San Francisco Bay area are major West Coast shortage areas. Border towns in Texas such as El Paso and Brownsville are severe shortage areas that offer high salaries when compared to the cost of living.
