I passed the exit hesi, I made 1012 with a conversion score of 91.58, so excited that it is out of the way. Passing is 800 and our class ave was 804 that really sucks. My friend failed by 1 point a 799. She has one more chance to take it or she has to retake some nursing classes. Which I think that it is unfair that you pass the classes with A's and B's and you fail the HESI and your considered a program failure. I graduate Aug. 12th:yeah:

It is a good thing, a step along the way! :) Don't down play it, you learned lots of valuable information there that will help you a lot in NS.
And OP, I'm convinced of the conspiracy theories about HESI in general. I think it's useless, does not accurately portray NCLEX pass rates, and is functioning as a false way of inflating school passage rates. JMO

I took the Hesi and completely bombed it, the testing area was horrible people showing up late moving to different computers trying to find one that worked my chair getting constantly bumped as people moved around and some really bizarre questions. I took the NCLEX this friday completely different style altogether (I got the supposed good pop up, cross fingers and knock on wood) quiet room working computers and logical question to boot!

Hey what version did u take.
Hey what version did u take. I take mine tomorrow
RN exit v-1-d
I took that one and made a 831. I cant seem to get any higher than that. I take my test over tomorrow
Why are you retaking it? Is it required to graduate? My school gave it to us just so we had an idea of what we needed to study.
yeah we need a 850 to pass it

We took our LVN exit hesi last monday. Was pretty weird test I agree...not really a good cross section of questions all really specific to areas of study. I was pretty surprised. I did well. 1101 translated 97.44 so I'm done w/ that.
We needed an 850 to pass as well. I have no problem sharing my score. another girl in my class got an 1150, she said she didn't study for it at all but I did. I worked my butt off for that score.
the good thing is that I feel I'm prepared for teh nclex.

wow,
you people are lucky; my school requires an exit score of 900 on the hesi. oh well my last rn exit score was 958, and it was only the second pre-test. in addition, if you do not pass it you cannot graduate. my group takes our final rn-exit hesi on jan 3.
wish us luck.
