I'm calling it the "Covid Fog" (tm). I am struggling to return to my regular duties after an interruption of covid related duties. During a regular year I had so many interruptions and could bounce back to immunizations, screening, whatever. Now I sit and stare at computer, whatever comes in - "Oh, I am doing this now". Just can't bounce in and out like before. I did get second vaccine and hoping this is going to give me some relief of feeling exposed and vulnerable.

I read a book and listen to music to help me relax.

I feel you! I can't seem to catch up and I do work from home and weekends, it is the Never Ending Story, or Ground Hog day. Every morning when I wake up I try to stay positive then I get to school and normally by 0730 am I am already swamped with emails from parents that I have to do follow up with, because most of the time the emails are very vague.
"Little Suey, will be doing virtual today"
Thanks

There goes my morning following up on all the little Suey's that are virtual when they are an in person student.

I feel like everything is on standby. Fun, freedom, and adventure. I go to the same places, mostly curbside or takeout. I try to find projects to work on at home, not school-related. We have reported working in-person since Sept. I wish we could work remotely. I am a 3-year widow, so I make rounds to check on the yard, house outside and inside, vehicles. If everything is fine, I do fun recipes and go grocery shopping. I call around and check on family members far and near and then, my friends. I got off FB because I favor actual real relationships. My favorite relaxing thing to do is get in my truck and drive a short trip to a park, get take-out and eat at the park. It refreshes my mind and gets me out of the house with fresh air. I also sew fun masks for me and my family members.
