Excelsior RT to RN

Published

Anyone recently done or starting excelsior college RT to RN program?

Thank you.... you all have been a big help!!! :)

Hi Mike, I am also registered with EC and want to get my RN (AS). I have a question regarding some of the tests. I would appreciate if you could give me any advice on where I can get more study materials to prepare for the exams better. I got all the books and I also purchased the practice exams. It's been frustarting because haven't done well on couple of the exams, and I am just lost on what else I can do to pass them. It feels like no matter how much I study I just can't pass. I don't get how they put these tests together. I really need help. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hey there try this link http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rnstudygroup/ Its an online study group for EC students. There are good resources on there and they are very helpful.

Good luck!!!

I have had success from following the content guide and reading the related chapters. In addition, studying the rationales from the practice exams realloy helped me focus on my weak areas. Spend the few extra dollars and purchase the practice exams.

OMG! I am a RRT but I have LPN (3 years) experience. I am presently in lpn to bsn program DSU. I was in the program in NYC but due to relocation that was enevitable I am starting over again. was interested in doing excelsior. Spoke to representative, who always makes it sounds so easy. But I want to hear from you, us, the students. I have another colleague who is doing it now and he finds it extremely difficult. Very wordy, more than the actually sit in classes I have attending for nursing.

anyone in the area interested in studying together and getting thru this time in our lives?
