  1. Have you read all the required material?
  2. I'm ways away from the FCCA. Although I have 2 exams left, my personal life and bumps in the road are causing me to take a slow approach towards the finish line. I'd like to finish quicker, but life has it's challenges.
  3. Hi, I would study for ALL the exams, regardless of your background. Health Safety can be tricky, so following the content guide that excelsior provides would be a great way to begin studying. Lots of people try to cut corners and end up failing the exams - as you can read throughout allnurses. The exams in general are not easy. I have used the content guides for 6 of the 8 theory exams, and have not been misled. Good Luck!
  4. Have you taken any classes @ RCC?
  5. I would suggest enrolling before the October 1 before the changes take effect with regards to transferring previously earned credit for A&P and Microbiology.
  6. 10 days to study? What materials did you use in 10 days?
  7. Don't give up yet. I failed LS2 initally and felt doomed. I regrouped and finally passed it. You can do it. I take this exam next.
  8. What material did you use to study for this exam?
  9. After reading about all the comments about this exam and how people can't get passed this exam, I went back and really focused on the content guide. I read, and reread the guide and followed the reading in the book. This exam is not one of the exams that you'll pass without reading and understanding the material well. Another real asset was the practice exam. Make sure you go over the practice exam and rationales and not just memorize the answers, but understand them. Study study study and you'll do well. Good luck!
  10. I think you got most of the difficult exams out of the way! good luck with your last one.. and on the FCCA.
  11. Congratulations! How'd you manage 2! in one day???
  12. Hi Everyone, Just passed Lifespan 2 with a C!! - That was one tough exam, but very doable. Now onto my last two exams: Lifespan 3 and transitions. This is very doable if anyone has any doubts.
  13. I have had success from following the content guide and reading the related chapters. In addition, studying the rationales from the practice exams realloy helped me focus on my weak areas. Spend the few extra dollars and purchase the practice exams.
  14. Hi, Congrats to all on passing. What have you guys used besides the practice exams and their rationales to pass? Just the Saunders book? Or some other material? Thanks!
