Excelsior Nursing Program

Hello everyone, I'm currently getting my preliminary review done at EC and have a few questions to ask regarding the program. First how long does it normally take for the preliminary review, out of the 8 nursing theory exams, which ones are the easiest? Any other insight on the program I will love to hear! Thanks!

Yup. For multiple reasons (most unknown) their CPNE dates have gotten way behind. When I did mine, (finished in Nov 2012, paperwork turned in Dec 2012, all approved Jan 2013) it was 3-5 months max wait time. I got a date in 3 months, but pushed it back a month because of work scheduling issues.

I have a coworker that had all his paperwork turned in end of August 2015 and has a test date in June of this year.

The nursing faculty shortage: the struggle is real! That and the loss of a couple of test sites has amplified the wait time. But I am still seeing people getting cancellation dates in the Facebook groups.
