Excelsior Nursing Program

Hello everyone, I'm currently getting my preliminary review done at EC and have a few questions to ask regarding the program. First how long does it normally take for the preliminary review, out of the 8 nursing theory exams, which ones are the easiest? Any other insight on the program I will love to hear! Thanks!

It took me 10 months to complete the ADN program.

I need Micro too, I am waiting on the review and then I am ready to start. What state are you in? I am in Virginia and will love to find information on the required hours after graduating. Which facility did you do it with?

Also I want to be added to the study group, please....

Through Tor College

I wanted to know to know how was the exam. I am about to take this test through Tor College and didn't know how much I really need to study. Please Tell Me IM Over Thinking this.

Not new to EC actually returning. Still have A&P and Micro. Finished Info Lit, psych, and rest was transferred in. May I join the KIK? I have like a million resources for EC program so I don't think I really need to buy anything else. I am concerned that some of text maybe outdated, Please add me, I am glad to see the support is still here :) Look forward to studying with you.

I competed all course requirements in the middle of December 2015 and completed all my requirements for the CPNE application at the end of the year. On Jan 8 I received an email indicating that some circumstances beyond their control the CPNE dates have been backed up. Needless to say it is 10-12 months before I would receive my testing date. I have called over 2 dozen times for a cancellation date and their is nothing available. If I had been told this would be how long I have to wait I would have never entered the program. I was told 4 months waiting time when I began the program.
