I have been trying to find material online about the Massachusetts' BON and its attitude towards Excelsior. As far as I know MA is currently accepting Excelsior grads and has no plans to stop doing so, but I'd like to see something in print. Does anyone have any info about this?

The State Boards Office at EC may be able to help you if you call them.

I am a recently enrolled excelsior student in MA. I don't think there is anything in print per se (I looked and couldn't find anything) When I was inquiring I emailed and got a response from Excelsior that they are currently accepted by MA BON and I called MA BON and was told there are no issues currently (this was in August) and my charge nurse got her RN through them last year.
If you find anything in print please let me know. I'm telling all my friends how great is seems and the bridge programs here are waitlisted a year and are $7k more than Excelsior. I'm the only one of my school mates that has jumped into the untested waters.
Hope this helps.
I called the MA BON today and they said the same thing...they currently accept Excelsior grads and have no plans to stop doing so. It would just be nice to have something in print...but I guess this will have to do for now.
