Excelsior Graduate needing help

Hi All,

I am trying to find a way to obtain my clinical hours for CA RN board receieved my

LVN 1994 in CA

RN ADN 2006 excelsior

BSN 2011 traditional college

I have contacted the board and paid the application fee but they offer very little information on steps to take to obtain clinical hours ,has anyone else ever experienced this problem if so any information would be helpful,

If you enrolled in Excelsior College's distance-based LVN-to-ASN program after December 2003, the California BRN will not grant you an RN license by endorsement. Only one person has been able to find a way around this loophole, and it is because he/she has a law degree.

You can't go back later and complete clinical hours and have that change your situation. CA's whole objection to Excelsior is that it doesn't meet the state BRN's requirement that classroom and clinical hours be completed concurrently. Doing "clinical" hours later on still won't meet that requirement.
