What you might want to do is to check the EC bookstore for the required textbooks. Write down the ISBN numbers and do a search of Amazon.com, ebay.com, half.com, barnes and noble, etc. A lot of these places have the option of buying new, used, or renting, including EC. I didn't take the courses so I can't help you there. But the above is what I did for all of the other general education courses that I took in a community college.
Ok thanks!

I got all of my books on amazon & ebay. I've also used studygroup101 for all my classes and I didn't need to purchase several of the books, I only have med-surg, fundamentals, maternal, - I didn't use any books for Transition or the extra one for chronicity and I'm using a 2011 pharm book borrowed from a friend. I spend total about $60.00 for books and $60.00 for the study guides - I like a bargain!! I did buy the newest mosby's nursing diagnosis book, I figure I will be using that for quite awhile.

I bought mine from amazon. the cost just depends on the book.
I have alot of books from past nursing courses, even a Lpn to RN transition book I have a medical terminology book, careplan & diagnosis book also. But how do you know if they need to be updated books or do you just go for it?
