I am interested in attending NP school but I am hearing that you have to write alot of papers which is very discouraging due to the fact that I hate writing papers...So my question is what programs are out there consist of mostly Exams???

Adv physical assessment, Adv Pharm and Adv Patho. My other classes ranged from writing a 1 paper a week to 1 big term paper at the end of the semester.
In my program, 1/3 of the classes we wrote papers w/ no exams, and 2/3 we took proctored exams w/ no papers. I was all about the exams. I hate writing papers. PM me if you find this ratio acceptable. Haha.
Honestly, there is no such thing as a NP school that doesn't have at least a few classes where you're going to be writing papers. All programs have research/EBP classes at a minimum.

This is the best ratio I've seen so far! LOL Where did you go to school?

Well my program has consisted of both exams and papers to write. Of course in the core course (research, theory, a safety class) there was more paper writing and no exams. In the big courses the big focus is exams but we have a big paper due at the end of the semester (case narrative). I've heard that this is true for all the courses I have left (Adult II, Peds, and Women's health) except for Practicum of course. I don't mind the papers, I usually benefit greatly from learning the information researched. The papers are only a hinderance mainly because I am doing the full time curriculum which means I have three classes that require different papers due throughout the semester.
